I am a wife of almost 20 years, I've been a mom a few less, and I will always, ALWAYS choose a cookbook to read over the latest and greatest novel. A school counselor for now, I secretly have a dream of retiring with my husband and opening up our own bed and breakfast, The Lazy Daisy.
We talk of a restored, historical home sitting on a piece of Tennessee land and a farm table big enough to suit family, friends, and strangers who happen by... plates full of fresh vegetables from the garden along with warm, homemade bread... and, of course, one can't forget the minted sweet tea! Cap it all off with a bit of Bluegrass on the front porch, steaming bread pudding, and a hot cup of coffee...
Someone, please tell me how many more years 'til retirement.

In the meantime, I'm sharing collected recipes and my trial-and-error attempts at those that might make a great addition to the afore-mentioned farm table. But even more than that, I'm hoping to encourage you to bless others with food. Heaven knows there are lots of people to love!
All things are ready, my friends... come to the feast!
